The Jersey Eisteddfod
The Jersey Eisteddfod was established in 1908 and comprises two Festivals each year: the Deutsche Bank Festival of Creative Arts is held in the Spring, the Deutsche Bank Festival of Performing Arts takes place during the winter months. [more]
Guernsey Music Bursary
In 2011 Deutsche Bank established a bursary award for students resident in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. Applications are invited from those who already attend or have been offered a confirmed place at a college, university or other accredited specialist musical establishment undertaking "classical" music related studies, either instrumental or vocal. The bursary is intended to assist a student with the cost of study materials, books, tuition fees and previous recipients are Casey-Joe Rumens – currently pursuing post graduate studies in opera, pianist Tom Hicks and oboist Laura Campbell.
Cayman National Gallery Scholarship & Internship
For several years Deutsche Bank (Cayman) Limited has agreed, in partnership with the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands, to award a scholarship and internship to local students wishing to pursue a career in the visual arts. [more]
Jersey Symphony Orchestra
Deutsche Bank have enjoyed an association with the Jersey Symphony Orchestra (JSO) for over ten years as lead sponsor of the Christmas Concert. The JSO is made up of a mix of local musicians, supported by professionals and led by professional conductor, Philip Ellis. The Orchestra assembles three days before each concert (three times per annum) to rehearse the challenging pieces selected by their conductor.
